The Woodland Spirits Collection has displayed other characteristic woodland animals in previous editions: the fox, the rabbit, the raccoon, the hedgehog, the deer, and the chipmunk.

The Design

The reverse design, which is colored, showcases the bear in a close-up depiction amid the green foliage. The refined color applications make an interesting contrast with the brilliant white background from the proof finish. Because of the 3-D effect, the cute bear seems to be coming out of the coin, surpassing the coin’s edges.

The engravings on this side refer to the year of mintage and the collection’s name.

The obverse is monochromatic silver, exhibiting a mirror-like luster over the blank surface. The coniferous forest is the image in the background, while the Coat of Arms of the Mongol Bank lies in a central position.
