The reverse design reproduces the Monument of Freedom in Mexico City. It features Victoria, a winged feminine representation of the nation with two mountains in the background.

The inscriptions “5 ONZAS,” “PLATA PURA,” “2023,” and “LEY .999” refer to the coin’s weight, metal content, purity, and issuance. The Mexico Mint mintmark appears aside through the “M” on the right.
