PAMP Suisse releases a new coin series. The Hot Wheels™ Series presents uniquely shaped and colored silver coins that reproduce the toy cars manufactured by Mattel™ for more than five decades, 

The debuting sample is a limited strike of the Twin Mill™, the toy car created by Hot Wheels™ designer Ian Gilford, identified by its dual-blown big blocks and dual front intakes. It is a flat one-ounce coin made of 999.9 pure silver bullion.

The Design

The obverse reproduces the Twin Mill™, a long-nosed toy car, in glossy blue with a white racing strip. Its dual-blown big blocks and dual front intakes are imprinted in detail. The Hot Wheels™ logo is on the car hood.

The reverse design is all silver, but the checkered racing flag is used as a backdrop. A big Hot Wheel™ logo accompanies the Solomon Islands’ seal. 

The encircled national symbol displays the former Queen Elizabeth II’s portrait, by Ian Rank-Broadley, surrounded by “2023,” “1 OZ 999.9 SILVER,” referring to the coin’s weight, purity, and metal content, “ELIZABETH II,” “SOLOMON ISLANDS,” and the coin’s denomination of “2 DOLLARS.”

The unique four-digit serial number is on the lower right.
