Design:
The reverse design portrays an adorable image of a mother tiger and her cub following close behind. The cub looks to its mother in admiration of her strength and courage. The depths of the rainforest are found behind the animals, featuring bamboo trees and fern plants. Lastly, you can see the “P” mintmark disguised within the trees if you look closely.
The obverse also displays the antique finish. This side features the classic effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in addition to the weight, purity, face value, and year of issue.
Each coin is shipped in a gorgeous display case where the coin is securely displayed. The coin is also accompanied by a certificate of authenticity (COA) that is unique to each coin. This COA also explains how the tiger became an animal in the Lunar calendar.
