1893 PCGS MS-62 $20 Liberty Head Double Eagle Coin
The $20 Liberty Head Double Eagle Coin holds immense numismatic value.
The US Mint first struck them in 1850 with a high gold content of .9675 oz, designed for regular circulation with legal tender status and a twenty-dollar denomination.
The production of the Liberty Head Double Eagle continued until 1907 when it was replaced by the Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle.
Many $20 Liberty Head Double Eagle coins were lost during the economic collapse of the 1930s, similar to other Pre-1933 Gold Coins. Due to rising gold prices, these coins were hoarded and melted, enhancing their historical and numismatic value.
Today, SD Bullion offers the 1893 PCGS MS-62 $20 Liberty Head Double Eagle Coin, encapsulated and graded as MS-62 by PCGS.

A PCGS MS-62 Coin
PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) is a leading independent third-party coin grading company, using the Sheldon Scale to rank coins from 1 to 70 based on condition.
MS stands for Mint State, indicating an uncirculated coin. A grade of 62 means the coin has noticeable marks and hairlines but remains attractive overall.
The coins in this listing have been graded MS-62 by PCGS and come in protective plastic slabs. These slabs may show light wear, but this does not affect the coin's grade or value.
