Product Design
Featured prominently in the foreground of the obverse of this round is the American cowboy riding a bucking bronco with the setting sun lighting up the background. This cowboy pays homage to both the current (Scottsdale, Arizona) and future (Wyoming) manufacturing locations of the Scottsdale Mint.
To the lower right of the cowboy sits a Buffalo privy mark as an added security feature. While the Buffalo is closely associated with US Mint coinage and bullion collectibles, it holds a special place of prominence on the flag of Wyoming, the Cowboy State.
On the reverse of the round amidst a beautiful design of radiating lines refracting the light sits the Scottsdale Lion with the popular cowboy saying "Ride for the Brand” directly below.
