The US Mint produced Liberty Double Eagle Gold Coins from 1850 to 1907 to work as the circulating $20 coins in the US.

The production of the $20 Liberty Double Eagle Gold Coin ceased in 1907 after over 50 years of regular strikes when the US Mint replaced it with the Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle coin.
This coin, in particular, was produced by the US Mint in the San Francisco branch in 1882; hence, it carries the “S” mint mark.
Today, you can acquire 1882-S $20 Liberty Double Eagle Gold Coins, sealed in PCGS slabs and graded as MS-62 samples online, from SD Bullion.

This coin features the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” above the Eagle, and the denomination engraved at the bottom reads “TWENTY DOLLARS.”
A PCGS MS-62 Coin
The PCGS—Professional Coin Grading Service—appraises coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale as a parameter and grades them, 1 to 70, according to their condition.
An MS-Mint State coin is a business circulation coin that has never circulated. Grade 62 suggests that the coin may present marks and hairlines in focal areas, but with acceptable overall appearance.
