This 50g gold bar is one of the heavier and more valuable gold bars manufactured by the well-known PAMP Suisse Mint in Switzerland. Considering the ever-increasing global gold prices, it is an excellent investment option for those looking to add a substantial amount of weight to their precious metal portfolios.
PAMP (Produits Artistiques Métaux Précieux) is an independently operating precious metal refinery company. It was founded in 1977 in Ticino, Switzerland. As of late, the name PAMP Suisse has become synonymous with quality and purity due to their excellent track record in both of those departments when it comes to precious metal products.
However, this particular gold bullion bar is not minted, but is cast, i.e. each bar is produced by pouring molten gold into a mold and allowing it to cool. Consequently, these bars have a rough, unfinished look to them that some people prefer to the sheen of the minted bars. Even the edges of this gold bar are rough and hence, this bullion bar tends to exude a rustic aura. Each bar contains 50g (1.608 oz.) of pure 0.9999 Au (Gold), and an Assay certificate is bundled with the bar to verify its authenticity and purity.
Imprinted on the obverse is the renowned PAMP logo; each letter ‘P’,’A’,’M’ and ‘P’ depicted on a bullion bar. Underneath the logo, the word ‘Suisse’ is imprinted followed by the weight and quality of the gold bar. Lastly, the words ‘Essayeur Fondeur’ and the serial number of the gold bar can be seen.
Unlike other gold bars, this bullion bar features no markings on the reverse side – showcasing only the rough, matte-like finish of its cast gold surface.
Gold is an exceptional investment option when it comes to precious metals, as it sees minimal price fluctuations and is slowly but surely bound to appreciate in value; hence, this 50 gram bullion bar will be a valuable addition to your investment portfolio – both diversifying and solidifying it.
