CIT Palau Gold Sea Turtle 0.5 Gram Coin

Another marine-themed release joins the CIT lineup of minigold coins released this year with the CIT Palau Gold Sea Turtle 0.5 Gram Coin. These coins are shaped like sea turtles, and use the Big Gold Minting (BGM) technique developed by CIT and Germany-based Mayer Mint. This technique allows larger surface area using relatively lower weights of gold. Although CIT started out as a precious metals trading company in 1970, it has slowly expanded into handling projects involving the manufacture of legal tender coins and medals.
