$10 Face - 90% Modern Halves - Unspecified Silver Coins
Modern Halves were almost always made in copper-nickel variants starting in 1970. However, beginning in 1982, the U.S. Mint struck their first commemorative half dollar in 90% silver; the 1982 George Washington Half Dollar Commemorative. Soon after, in 1992, the San Francisco Mint began to manufacture silver proof sets of US currency. These featured many circulating US coins, some of which were composed of 90% silver. The halves were among the coins these sets contained, and featured the classic Kennedy design with a proof finish. After 2018, the US Mint began using 0.999 silver for half dollars in silver proof sets.
Today, SD Bullion offers Modern Halves issued in 1982 and after, struck in 90% silver, with varied years of issuance, in rolls accounting for $10. The coins are randomly selected from our inventory and may be of assorted face value, mintage, and design according to our availability at the time of shipping.

Product Details
By purchasing this item, you will receive one $10 FV half dollar roll of 90% half dollars minted in 1982 or after. Which item and design sent will be based on currently available inventory at the time of purchase. We guarantee that all of the coins sent are comprised of 90% silver, minted in either 1982 or through 1992-2018.
Please note that 40% Silver Kennedys are not included as an option, as only 90% silver will be available in these rolls. The 1976 Kennedy Bicentennial is also not included as an option for this same reason.
Note that all coins distributed in this product listing have been reviewed and verified as 90% silver. The U.S. Mint has manufactured proof variants of designs in both clad and silver content that are virtually identical. The easiest method to determine whether the coin has silver content or not is to inspect the edge of the coins. Where clad variants will have a copper rim surrounding half of the edge, these coins will never feature that copper rim.
Along with Kennedy Half Dollars from U.S. Mint proof sets, rolls may contain modern commemoratives but only those struck with 90% silver, such as the 1982 George Washington commemorative and the 1993 James Madison commemorative.
