2025-(P) NGC MS-70 Early Releases Eagle Privy 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin - Philadelphia Label

In 1986, the US Mint introduced the official silver coin of the US into the bullion market as the premier coin of the American Eagle Program.

In 2024, in collaboration with Nice Gang, a video game company that develops the immersive mobile RPG Eight Era, the US Mint produced a limited edition of US Silver Eagles imprinted with privy marks to inspire coin collecting within the gaming community.

Minted in Philadelphia, these coins, in particular, were purchased from the US Mint within 30 days of their official release and submitted to an NGC appraisal, where they were sealed with an NGC Philadelphia Label.

The Design

Adolph A. Weinman’s Lady Liberty features the feminine figure walking towards the sun with the American flag draped over her shoulder, oak and laurel branches in her arms, and a welcome sign for those seeking shelter in the New World. 

It also displays the year of issuance, the word “LIBERTY,” the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” aside, and the bald eagle privy mark on the right. 

Emily Damstra’s reverse design, included in the 2021 Silver Eagles, depicts a Bald Eagle perched on a branch with its wings spread. 

Additional inscriptions encircle the whole image and read “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” “1 OZ,” and “FINE SILVER,” added by the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM.” 

An NGC MS-70 “Early Releases” Coin

Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) is renowned worldwide for assessing and grading coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which scores coins from 1 to 70.

For NGC, “Early Releases” refer to coins purchased from the original mint within the first 30 days of their official release and submitted to its appraisal.

MS stands for Mint State. Mint State coins are shaped as business coins. Grade 70 is attributed to coins that are flawless.
