American Silver Eagles have been the best-selling silver coins since their introduction, and are highly appreciated for their patriotic design and credibility as the United States' official silver coin.

In 2024, in collaboration with Nice Gang, a video game company that develops the immersive mobile RPG Eight Era, the US Mint produced a limited edition of US Silver Eagles with privy marks.

These US Silver Eagles, in particular, were purchased from the US Mint within 30 days of their official release and submitted to an NGC appraisal.

The Design

The mighty Bald Eagle, depicted by Emily Damstra, is featured on the reverse design perched on a branch with its wings spread. 

It is encircled by “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” “1 OZ,” and “FINE SILVER,” added by the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM.” 

Lady Liberty is portrayed on the obverse, walking towards the sun with the American flag draped over her shoulder, oak and laurel branches in her arms, and a welcome sign.

It also features the year of issuance, the word “LIBERTY,” the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” aside, and the bald eagle privy mark on the right. 

An NGC MS-70 “Early Releases” Coin

Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) is renowned worldwide for assessing and grading coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which scores coins from 1 to 70.

For NGC, “Early Releases” refer to coins purchased from the original mint within the first 30 days of their official release and submitted to its appraisal.

MS stands for Mint State. Mint State coins are shaped as business coins. Grade 70 is attributed to coins that are flawless.
