The Design

This coin is shaped like a heart, with design engravings on both sides and reeded edges.

The obverse is a monochromatic silver surface, imprinted with King Charles III’s effigy, signed by Dan Thorne, surrounded by “CHARLES III,” “COOK ISLANDS,” and “5 DOLLARS.”

The reverse displays the infinity symbol over a golden integrated crystal, also shaped like a heart. Delicate, pastel-colored flowers surround this central artistry, enhancing the design. The only engraving on this side is a small inscription of the issuance “2025.”

Because it is a proof coin, the blank background shines with a mirror-like luster, while the design elements feature a matte finish.
