2025 1 oz Silver Britannia MintCertified™ Premium Uncirculated | Sealed Tube
Silver Britannia Coins are one of the Royal Mint’s most popular products. Renowned for their exclusive anticounterfeiting features and high purity levels, they are a sensible option for those seeking secure physical bullion to diversify their investment portfolio.
For those who want to purchase a significant number of Silver Britannias at once, the British Royal Mint offers MintCertified™ Sealed Tubes. Each tube contains 25 Uncirculated Silver Britannia, which accounts for 25 oz (777.5 grams total) of fine silver.
Purchasing silver in bulk typically comes with lower premiums than buying individual coins. Opting for a Silver Britannia MintCertified™ Sealed Tube can be a more cost-effective way to add high-quality silver coins to your collection or investment portfolio.
Product Highlights
- Each tube contains 25 freshly minted silver coins;
- The tubes are sealed at the British Royal Mint;
- Each coin contains 1 oz (or 31.1 grams) of .999 fine silver;
- Each coin holds a face value of 2 pounds sterling, guaranteed by the British government;
- King Charles III's design and standard Britannia reverse;
- Design creations of Martin Jennings and Philip Nathan.
The Design
The obverse of the Britannia coin now features an official portrait of Martin Jennings crafted by His Majesty King Charles III. The design showcases an elegant left-profile close-up of the monarch, with inscriptions along the edge that read “2 POUNDS,” “CHARLES III,” and “D. G. REX. F. D.,” which stands for “By the grace of God, King” in Latin.
The reverse side retains the classic feminine depiction of Britannia, a warrior standing against the wind, holding the Union Jack shield and her trident. Surrounding the image are the inscriptions “BRITANNIA,” the year of issue, “1 oz,” and “999 FINE SILVER,” denoting the coin's weight, fineness, and metal content.
The MintCertified™ Tube
The Royal Mint prepares each tube containing 25 one-troy-ounce silver coins. After properly separating the coins and housing them, the tubes receive a TEP-tamper-evident seal. MintCertified™ black labels complete the closure process to ensure the coins remain untouched until the client’s hands.
