The series pays tribute to twelve prominent saints, regarded as guardians and protectors of mankind. Until the 12 Saints are showcased, it will release a pair of silver coins with varied finishes in three annual releases.

St. Michael and St. Joseph are the first pair of Patron Saints of 2025.

St. Michael Archangel is now venerated as the protector of soldiers, police officers, paramedics, and the military, symbolizing courage, justice, and divine protection.

Michael is mentioned in Revelation 12:7-12, where he leads the battle against Satan, ultimately casting him out of heaven and stripping him of his role as accuser before God—a position he once held in the Old Testament. By the late medieval period, Michael, alongside Saint George, emerged as a patron of chivalry.
