The design also includes the word “LIBERTY” and an updated date of “2024,” with the “230” privy mark positioned in the lower right corner.
The reverse highlights a laurel wreath encircling an eagle with outstretched wings at the center, an early precursor to the American heraldic eagle, and the inscription “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.”
A PCGS MS-70 First Strike Coin
PCGS (Professional Coin Grading Service) evaluates and grades coins independently of sovereign mints. It utilizes the Sheldon Scale, a grading system from 1 to 70, and meticulously assesses coins based on their condition.
According to PCGS, “First Strikes” refers to coins purchased from their original mints within the first 30 days of their official release and submitted to its appraisal.
MS stands for Mint State, indicating a coin crafted in the format of a business circulation coin. Since it has never been in circulation, the coin has no flaws, which grants it a 70 grade.
