US Silver Eagles are the national official silver bullion coin released in 1986 as part of the American Eagle Program. 

In an unprecedented partnership, the US Mint joined Nice Gang, a video game company that developed the immersive mobile RPG Eight Era, which rewards players with physical collectibles, and issued a limited strike of US Silver Eagles with privy marks. This collaboration is an effort to promote coin collecting among the gaming community.

Only 500,000 units of these coins have been produced at the Philadelphia Mint. They feature enhanced security features and, for the first time, a unique Star Privy below the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” on the obverse.

These coins, in particular, were purchased from the US Mint on day #1 of their official release and submitted to NGC appraisal, where they were sealed with NGC Exclusive Reagan Label.

The Design

The reverse depicts the Bald Eagle perched on a branch with its open wings. Inscriptions regarding face value, weight, metal content, and purity data read “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “1 OZ FINE SILVER,” and “ONE DOLLAR.”

Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) is renowned worldwide for assessing and grading coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which scores coins from 1 to 70 according to their condition.
