Since 1986, like all other Gold and Silver Eagles, the 1/10 oz Gold Eagle has been minted annually. About 480,000 1/10 oz Gold Eagles are minted every year on average. Their mintage, though, has recently shrunk to below 300,000 a year, making them a much more unique coin than they had traditionally been.

In addition to the standard BU version, SD Bullion now has the 1/10 oz Gold Eagle available as a Graded Gold Eagle and as a Proof Gold Eagle.

2021 Gold Eagle Design

The gold coin's obverse style shows Lady Liberty boldly striding ahead with a torch in her left hand and an olive branch in her right hand. Behind her, you can see the US Capitol Building, and the circumference of the coin is lined with six-pointed stars. With the word "LIBERTY" at the very top of the coin, 2021 will be minted to the right of it.

A family of bald eagles is featured in the middle of the reverse of these Gold Eagles. The father, with an olive branch, clutched in his heels, lands in the nest while the mother carries two eaglets in her wings. The nest consists of mostly olive branches, representing unity. At the top of the coin, "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" is minted on the coin with "1 OZ". Written at the very bottom of FINE GOLD~50 DOLLARS. To the left of the nest, "E PLURIBUS UNUM" is minted, and "IN GOD WE TRUST" is minted to the right of the nest.
