The Design
The 2020 obverse design features a cute illustration of a baby panda playing and feeding from Eucalyptus leaves. The coin’s weight, metal content, and fineness are aside, and the denomination is in the lower right in Chinese.
On the reverse side, the Temple of Heaven in Beijing has a central detailed depiction, encircled by the Chinese inscription corresponding to “The People’s Republic of China” and “2020”, for the year of mintage, on the bottom.
