1/2 oz Chinese Gold Panda Coins - Random Year

The Chinese Gold Panda is an official gold bullion coin produced by the China Mint, which operates under the supervision of the People's Bank of China. They first struck the Gold Panda Coin in 1982, just a year before releasing the Silver Panda Coin. The Chinese Gold Panda was struck in one troy ounce of 99.9% pure gold, as well as four fractional sizes (1/2, 1/4, 1/10, and 1/20 troy ounce) until 2015.

This 1/2 oz Chinese Gold Panda Coins - Random Year SKU allows customers to purchase fractional pieces of gold at a lower cost! Each of these coins are ½ troy ounce of .999 pure gold. The coin is a random year product, meaning it could be any year that the coin was minted, that being 1982-2015. Although SD Bullion cannot guarantee the year of issue or condition of the coin you receive, we can guarantee that it will be ½ troy ounce and .999 purity.

The coin's obverse design has changed almost every year to portray the Giant Panda, a symbol of Chinese culture, in a variety of natural environments. The obverse design will be different depending on what years we have in stock.

These coins make for a great addition to any collection, as fractional pieces make for great diversification to any gold bullion portfolio! If you have any questions about this product, please reach out to us at 1-800-294-8732 or at sales@sdbullion and we would be more than happy to help!
