The image is accompanied by the inscription “LIBERTY” at the top, the Capitol Building engraved on the lower left, and the year of issuance on the right.
On the reverse, Saint-Gaudens illustrates a Bald Eagle flying above the sun, with the inscriptions “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “TWENTY DOLLARS” above.
A PCGS MS-62 Coin
PCGS, or Professional Coin Grading Service, appraises and grades coins using the Sheldon Scale. This scale rates coins on a scale from 1 to 70 based on their condition.
MS stands for Mint State, a coin issued as a business circulation one. Grade 62 suggests that the coin may present marks and hairlines in focal areas, noticeable scuff marks, and below-average planchet quality. But acceptable overall appearance.
