St. Gaudens Double Eagle is one of the most popular gold coins worldwide. Easily recognized for its iconic design, signed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, it circulated in the US from 1907 to 1933.

The U.S. Mint issued Double Eagle Gold Coins to serve as the official twenty-dollar coin. In addition to its intrinsic value of .9675 Troy oz of gold, the patriotic design has historical and numismatic relevance and was later reimagined for the American Gold Eagle series.
