On the reverse, coins dated 1986–2021 feature Miley Busiek’s classic “Family of Eagles” design, a powerful portrayal of American strength and family values. Beginning mid-2021, the new “Type 2” design by Jennie Norris replaced the family motif with a close-up profile of a majestic bald eagle.
