The Design

The obverse displays the Rifleman preparing to shoot while riding a horse. The first circle that limits the rifleman’s portrayal is a rope, while the outer circle is a sequence of spikes.

Inscriptions describing weight, fineness, and metal content are inscribed as “1 TROY OZ - 9999 FINE GOLD.”

The background is covered in patterns, and a small Buffalo privy mark is on the lower right.

The reverse showcases the Scottsdale Mint’s official logo, the crowned lion encircled by a rope. The Mint’s name and the words “RIDE FOR THE BRAND” are included.
