1 oz American Silver Eagles in Cull Condition - Random Years

Silver Eagles are the official silver bullion coins in the US. With regular annual strikes, Silver Eagles have been a best-seller among the most popular silver coins worldwide.

In addition to their silver content, which accounts for a full 1 Troy oz of 99.9% fine silver, their patriotic design, based on America’s core values, is a must-have to coin enthusiasts.

These 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins are in cull condition, showing significant signs of wear, including possible scratches, dents, discoloration, or spotting.

They may be of varied mintages, randomly taken from our stocks, and are available at greatly discounted premiums today at SD Bullion.

  • Contains 1 oz of .999 fine silver;
  • Bears a USD 1 denomination and legal tender status;
  • Produced by the US Mint;
  • IRA approved;
  • Adolph A. Weinman Walking Liberty on the obverse;
  • Variable reverse designs;
  • Of varied mint years;
  • In poor condition.

The Obverse Design

The obverse showcases the Walking Liberty by Adolph A. Weinman.

Lady Liberty has the American flag draped on her shoulder, and it flies as she walks toward the sun's rays. She carries oak and laurel branches in one hand and stretches the other in a warm welcome. The word “LIBERTY” is engraved on top, while the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST” lies aside, and the year of mintage is at the bottom.

Reverse Design: Type 1

Chief Engraver John Mercanti designed the reverse. The Heraldic Eagle has outstretched wings, the National Shield in front of its chest, arrows and olive branches on its talons, and a banner with the inscription “E PLURIBUS UNUM” on its beak.

Thirteen pointed stars representing the original colonies form a triangle above the Eagle. The country’s name arches on the outer rim, while the coin’s face value, weight, metal content, and purity data are at the bottom.

Reverse Design: Type 2

The new reverse design was introduced in 2021 to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the American Eagle Program.

Emily Damstra’s Bald Eagle is perched on a branch. The inscriptions detailing the coin’s weight, metal content, and purity read “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” “1 OZ,” and “FINE SILVER.”
