The Design

The cowboy that names the series appears on the obverse design riding a bucking bronco. The first circle that surrounds the cowboy portrait is a rope. The outer circle is a sequence of spikes around the inscription “1/10 TROY OZ - 9999 FINE GOLD,” which describes the round’s weight, fineness, and metal content.

The background has striped latent patterns and a small Buffalo privy mark on the lower right.

The reverse displays the Scottsdale Mint’s official logo. The crowned lion overlaps the same backdrop that covers the obverse surface. The Mint’s name is on top, and “RIDE FOR THE BRAND” is on the bottom rim.
