The Design

The obverse design, which names the coin, displays General Patton’s bust wearing his M1 Helmet, a characteristic equipment from the US Army. The inscription “PATTON” is inscribed on top, and “2024” is at the bottom.

The Public Seal of Liberia covers the reverse side, accompanied by inscriptions regarding the coin’s face value, fineness, metal content, and weight. They read “10,000 DOLLARS” and “9999 FINE GOLD - 1 TROY OZ.”

As a proof-like coin, its blank background exhibits a brilliant luster, contrasting with the overlapping matte finish of the design elements.
