The reverse features the Bald Eagle perched on an arrow wrapped around an olive branch. Together, these two symbols represent America’s desire for peace and enduring military awareness.
It also displays the engravings “E PLURIBUS UNUM,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” and the coin’s face value of “2 ½ DOLLARS.”
