Liberty Head 1 oz Copper Round - Osborne Mint
Liberty Head 1 oz Copper Round - Osborne Mint
Currently Out of Stock
The Statue of Liberty is perhaps the most famous symbol of America. Celebrating the ideals that Lady Liberty portrays, these Liberty Head Copper Rounds from the Osborne Mint feature her familiar image on their obverses.
Each of these copper rounds contains 1 AVDP oz of 0.999 pure copper. Moreover, every round has a 39 mm diameter, making them portable and easy to store. Multiples of 20 rounds ship in tubes; multiples of 500 ship in secure boxes.
Osborne Mint has a rich history, one stretching as far back as 1835 when Andrew Jackson was the President of the United States. In fact, Osborne is the oldest private mint based in America. It is headquartered in Cincinnati, and now operates out of a massive 60,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility.
An image of the head of the Statue of Liberty, complete with the seven-spiked crown, is imprinted on the obverse of each of these coins. Thirteen stars surrounding this image commemorate the original 13 colonies of the United States.
Several iconic American symbols are featured on the reverses of these copper rounds, including the wings of a Bald Eagle, the striped shield, and the American flag. Furthermore, this side also highlights the purity and weight of the copper present in the round.
These Liberty Head Copper Rounds will not only make patriotic additions to coin collections, but their copper content will also assist in diversifying precious metals portfolios. Moreover, witnessing these detailed designs on the unique gleam of copper is an experience unlike any other.
