Indian Head 1 oz Copper Round - Osborne Mint
Indian Head 1 oz Copper Round - Osborne Mint
Currently Out of Stock
Honoring one of the most recognizable designs ever to feature on American coinage, the Indian Head Copper Round from Osborne Mint is now available at SD Bullion. It is a tribute to the design created by James Earle Fraser for the Indian Head Nickel (also called the Buffalo Nickel) in 1913.
Osborne Mint is the oldest operating private mint in the United States. Over the course of 175 years of precious metals refining, it has released a number of popular products. These copper rounds are also struck at its 60,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Cincinnati.
Each of these Indian Head Copper Rounds contains 1 AVDP oz of 0.999 pure copper. Multiples of 20 rounds are shipped in tubes, while multiples of 500 are securely packaged in a box.
With 39 mm diameters, these copper rounds are relatively portable allowing easy storage. Their obverses feature James Earle Fraser’s famous Indian Head design. The image captures a Native American Chieftain’s right profile, looking ahead with a somber expression on his face.
On the reverse, a striped shield with two wings behind it accompanies the American flag fluttering in the breeze. Moreover, the purity and weight of the copper present in the round are imprinted on the outer rim of this side.
These Indian Head Copper Rounds offer an excellent way to honor one of the most renowned American coin designers of all time, while also diversifying your precious metals portfolio with pure copper products from the Osborne Mint.
SD Bullion also offers a great selection of gold bullion and silver bullion!
