2025-(P) PCGS MS-70 First Day of Issue Eagle Privy 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin - John Dannreuther Signed Label

The US Silver Eagle is the official silver coin of the United States, whose design showcases a patriotic alliance with the nation's core values.

In 2024, the US Mint partnered with Nice Gang, the creative force behind the immersive mobile RPG Eight Era, to promote coin collecting within the gaming community. This exciting collaboration resulted in a limited-edition release of US Silver Eagles, each featuring a unique privy mark.

These coins, in particular, are US Silver Eagles crafted in the Philadelphia Mint. They were purchased from the US Mint on the first day of their public release and sealed by PCGS with the John Dannreuther Label.

John Dannreuther is a co-founder of PCGS and a member of the exclusive Founders Mark of Distinction holder. A leading coin expert, Dannreuther has authored numerous works on U.S. coins, focusing on rarities and die varieties. His notable contributions include the award-winning "The Official Guide to Coin Grading and Counterfeit Detection" and a groundbreaking article in the ANA Journal.

At SD Bullion, you can acquire 2025-(P) Eagle Privy 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins, graded as MS-70 “First Day of Issue” coins and sealed in PCGS’s John Dannreuther Signed Label.

The Design

Emily Damstra’s depiction of the Bald Eagle features this figure perched on a branch with its wings spread. Inscriptions describing face value, weight, metal content, and purity engravings read “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “1 OZ FINE SILVER,” and “ONE DOLLAR.”

The Walking Liberty design by Weinman portrays Lady Liberty enveloped in the American flag, walking towards the sun’s rays, and carrying oak and laurel branches in one arm to greet new immigrants to the New World.

Further engravings include the year of issuance, the word “LIBERTY,” the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the bald eagle privy mark.

A PCGS MS-70 First Day of Issue coin

PCGS (Professional Coins Grading Service) appraises and certifies coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which ranks coins from 1 to 70.

PCGS considers a “First Day of Issue” coin a sample purchased from its original mint on the first day of its official release and submitted to its appraisal.

MS stands for Mint State, indicating a coin crafted in the format of a business circulation coin. Since it has never been in circulation, the coin has no flaws, which grants it a 70 grade.
