First introduced in 1986 as part of the American Eagle Program, the US Silver Eagle marked the official entry of the United States into the silver bullion market.

To spark interest in coin collecting beyond traditional numismatics, the US Mint teamed up with Nice Gang, the mobile RPG Eight Era developer, to create a special limited edition of Silver Eagles, each featuring a unique privy mark exclusive to this collaboration.

The Design

The Walking Liberty design features Lady Liberty walking towards the sun with the American flag draped over her shoulder, hence the moniker. In the image, she carries oak and laurel branches and has a stretched arm to welcome those seeking shelter in the New World.

It is also engraved with the year of issuance, the word “LIBERTY,” the motto “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the bald eagle privy mark.

The 2021 reverse design presents the Eagle in a more natural way, depicting a Bald Eagle perched on a branch with its wings spread. 

It is also inscribed with “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” “1 OZ,” “FINE SILVER,” and the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”
