2025 NGC MS-70 Early Releases 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Coin
The premiere of the American Eagle Program in the numismatic market dates back to 1986, when the US Mint first released the US Gold Eagle, a 22k gold piece weighing 1 Troy oz.
US Gold Eagles are the official gold bullion coin in the US and bear iconic designs that reflect the core values established by the Founding Fathers.
The addition of fractional options to the series, still in 1986, boasted the program's popularity. The 1/10 oz Gold Eagle is the smallest option, with a 5-dollar denomination and legal tender status.
Today, SD Bullion offers 2025 1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Coins purchased from the US Mint within 30 days of their official release and graded by NGC as an MS-70 coin.

An NGC MS-70 Early Releases Coin
NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Company) uses the Sheldon Grading Scale to evaluate and attribute grades to coins.
NGC considers “Early Releases” the coins purchased and taken to its evaluation within the first 30 days of public release by their original mint.
MS stands for Mint State, indicating a coin crafted in the format of a business circulation coin. Since it has never been in circulation, the coin has no sign of wear, tear, or scratching, which grants it a 70 grade.
