The Design

The 2025 Snake reverse design showcases a snake wrapped around a bamboo trunk. It also displays the Chinese character for "Snake" and its English translation, the year of issuance "2025," and a subtle "P" mint mark on the left, signifying the Australian Perth Mint. 

The obverse features a left-facing portrait of King Charles III, crafted by Dan Thorne. Encircling the King's bust are the inscriptions "CHARLES III" and "AUSTRALIA" at the top, while the bottom rim lists "1/20 oz 9999 Au" and "5 DOLLARS," indicating the coin’s weight, purity, metal, and face value.
