Gold Libertad Series is a vast coin collection that comprises silver and gold coins with varied finishes and sizes. The heaviest fractional option is the 1/2 Troy oz coin.
The 1/2 oz Gold Libertad is imprinted with a standard design, which pays tribute to the Centenario of Mexican Independence.
Gold Libertads do not hold monetary denominations. The Central Bank of Mexico guarantees the series' legal tender status based on the coin’s weight, purity levels, and the gold spot price.

On the reverse, the Angel of Victory is depicted, holding a wreath crown in her right hand and broken chains in her left, representing the most iconic monument of Mexican Independence.
The inscriptions "1/2 ONZA ORO PURO," "2024," and "LEY .999" indicate the coin's weight, metal content, year of issue, and purity.
The “M” mint mark aside identifies the Mexican Mint.
An NGC MS-70 First Day of Issue coin
Coin grading services like NGC - Numismatic Guaranty Company appraise and grade coins using the Sheldon Scale, which ranges from 1 to 70, depending on their condition.
According to NGC, “First Day of Issue” corresponds to a coin purchased from its original mint on the very first day of its official release and submitted to NGC appraisal.
MS means Mint State, referring to coins fabricated with the same shape as a popular business coin that remained uncirculated. 70, the highest grade on the scale, is for a coin with no visible flaws.
