Coin Design

The Roaring Lion coin is part of the Truth Series, whose trademark is hiding a message from the Scriptures in their designs.

The coin got this moniker because of its reverse design, which has a roaring lion’s head in the spotlight. This animal is identified as the Lion of Judah by the Aleph Tav Symbol את on the crown, and the hidden truth lies in its crown band.

The inscriptions engraved beneath the image refer to the coin’s weight, metal content, and purity “ONE TROY OUNCE .9999 FINE SILVER”.

The obverse design showcases the Coat of Arms of Niue, a self-governed country that guarantees the coin’s legal tender, face value, and year of issuance.
