2023 PCGS MS-70 First Day of Issue 1 oz American Gold Eagle Coin - David Hall Signed Label
Since its first release, American Gold Eagle Coins have been highly popular among investors and collectors.
The 22k gold content of American Gold Eagles and their patriotic design that highlights America's fundamental values have made them one of the most sought-after gold coins globally.

The Design
The obverse of Gold reproduces Saint Gaudens’ twenty-dollar Double Eagle design.

It also features “LIBERTY” engraved on top, stars representing national states, the year of issuance, and the US Capitol Building.
The reverse displays a left-profile close-up of a Bald Eagle, highlighting its hooked beak and a staring gaze. It was created by Jennie Norris in 2021 for the program’s 35th anniversary.
The coin’s face value, weight, and metal content read “50 DOLLARS” and “1 OZ FINE GOLD.” On top read “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” while the two mottos “E PLURIBUS UNUM” and “IN GOD WE TRUST” are vertically lined up under the nation’s name.
