2023 NGC MS-70 5 oz Sword of Truth Silver Coin - High Relief
Released for the first time in 2022 as part of the Truth Series, the 1 oz Sword of Truth Silver Coin was an immediate success loved by investors for its low premiums and by collectors for its exceptional design.
In 2023, the Sunshine Mint, which produces this series of coins in partnership with SD Bullion, presents the 5 oz Sword of Truth Silver Coin, expanding the collection. The Truth Series debuted in 2018 through a double standard design: The Roaring Lion and the True of Life, with hidden messages from the Scripture. We then added the Sword of Truth and the Ram of Calvary, enriching its repertoire and making it an awe-inspiring collectible.
This year, for the first time ever, we are releasing our beloved Sword of Truth coin in a 5 ounce, high-relief option. A 5 oz silver coin makes it more interesting. It is an unusual coin option, which provides uniqueness to the piece.
And it may be a sensible investment option because it is made of the purest 99.99% silver, especially for investors who want to increase their tangible assets and diversify their investment portfolios.

The Design
The 2023 edition displays a new obverse design to the Sword of Truth coin. The current design features the Coat of Arms of Niue, a self-governed country associated with New Zealand.
The information engraved around the Seal refers to the coin’s face value of “TEN DOLLARS” and the year of issuance.
The reverse design names the coin. The sword featured is a battle one accompanied by a shield in the background. The hidden truth referring to a specific part of the Scriptures is micro-engraved in the sword’s hilt and reads: “AND IN TRUTH,” from Jonh 4:24.
A snake is pierced on the tip, adding a historical component to the design. The inscription “רוח קודש” of the shield means “Holy Spirit” in Hebrew.
The first framed belt encircling the image carries the coin’s weight, purity, and metal content descriptions flanking both sides of the picture. They read: “FIVE TROY OUNCES,” “.9999 FINE SILVER.”
The second belt corresponds to a striking weave of thorny vines, symbolizing a crown of thorns.
NGC MS-70 Grade
The NGC, Numismatic Guaranty Company, is a well-respected service with an international reputation that evaluates and grades coins using the Sheldon grading scale. Based on the coin's condition, the scale goes from 1 to 70.
“MS” stands for “mint state.” It refers to a business strike coin that has received a grade above 60 or, in other words, shows little traces of post-production marks. According to NGC the MS-70 grade is only given to, "A coin with no post-production imperfections at 5x magnification."
