The Design

The reverse features the Saker Falcon, Mongolia’s national symbol. The image consists of a front-face close-up in Ultra-High Relief through the exclusive Smartminting® Technology. The bird's feather, deep staring eyes, and hooked beak are in evidence in high relief. Trademark of the collection’s design, the Falcon has a full-length ghosted depiction in the background, with spread wings, as it is about to perch.

The Ultra-High Relief reverse design brings only the Falcon’s talons to the spotlight, grabbing a branch. 

Mongolia’s national seal is on a central octagon along with information about the coin’s face value, metal content, purity, and weight through: “500 TOGROG” and “MONGOLIA, 1 OZ .999 SILVER.” The geometric pattern in the background hides the year of issuance.
