The Design

The obverse features the Public Seal of Ghana, the nation that ensures the series’ legal tender status, in the middle of a cosmic pattern.
The inscriptions surrounding the seal describe the coin’s origins, year of issuance, weight, fineness, metal content, and face value. They read “REPUBLIC OF GHANA,” “2023,” “1/2 TROY OUNCE,” “999 FINE SILVER,” and “10 CEDIS.”
Its surfaces exhibit a shiny luster because it is a proof-like coin, making an interesting contrast with the matte design elements.
