The Design

Lady Liberty, depicted on the obverse, walks with the American flag draped on her shoulder and holds oak and laurel branches in her arm. The words “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and the year of issuance are included.

The V75 privy mark on the right is shaped like the Rainbow Pool at West Potomac Park in Washington, D.C.

The reverse design contains the Heraldic Eagle with the national seal on its chest, arrows and olive branches on its talons, and a banner with the motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM” on its beak. The Thirteen Colonies are represented by the thirteen stars atop.

The face value, weight, metal content, and purity inscriptions read “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “1 OZ FINE SILVER,” and “ONE DOLLAR.”

The “W” mint mark from the West Point branch is on the lower left.
