2015 NGC MS-69 PL 5 oz America The Beautiful Saratoga Silver Coin
The US Mint crafted unique silver coins from 2010 to 2021 to compose the America The Beautiful Quarter Program.
Annually, the series launched five samples, weighing 5 Troy oz each, imprinted with America’s most emblematic historical and natural sites.
The Saratoga Silver Coin was the fifth coin released in 2015 and the 30th in the series.
Saratoga National Historical Park, in New York, was established as a national site in 1938. It honors the crucial American victory over a major British army at Saratoga in the autumn of 1777. The battlefield, a monument to the fallen, and the restored country house of American General Philip Schuyler make up the park's three sites.
