2015 NGC MS-69 DPL Early Releases 5 oz America The Beautiful Bombay Hook Silver Coin
The America The Beautiful Quarter Program, a significant initiative by the US Mint from 2010 to 2021, produced over 50 five-ounce silver coins. Each coin in the series is a stamp of America’s most emblematic sites of natural and historical value.
The Bombay Hook Silver Coin is the fourth strike of the 2015 edition and the 29th in the series.
Bombay Hook National Wildlife Refuge is in Delaware and was established as a national site in 1937. It hosts migrating ducks, geese, shorebirds, and neo-tropical songbirds in their spring and fall migrations between Canada and the Gulf of Mexico. The area includes freshwater pools, swamps, upland forests, agricultural fields, and one of the most extensive unaltered tidal salt marshes in the Mid-Atlantic region.

An NGC MS-69 DPL “Early Releases” Coin
Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) works independently of sovereign mints, evaluating and grading coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which rates coins from 1 to 70 according to their condition.
For NGC, “Early Releases” refer to coins purchased from the original mint within the first 30 days of their official release and taken to its appraisal.
MS stands for Mint State. Mint State coins are shaped as business coins. Grade 69 is attributed to coins whose flaws are almost invisible.
DPL refers to a deep proof-like finish, describing coins whose fields are deeply mirrored and resembling proof coins but are actually bullion coins.
