The Design

The 2014 reverse design depicts a frontal close-up of the Australian koala perched on eucalyptus leaves. The engravings on the bottom correspond to the coin’s description of mintage, weight, purity, and metal content as “2014 1 oz 9999 GOLD,” and on top, the series name “AUSTRALIAN KOALA.”
