2014 NGC MS-69 Early Releases 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin
The US Mint introduced the American Silver Eagle in 1986 as the nation’s official silver coin, resulting from the American Eagles Program.
US Silver eagles are legal tender with a USD 1 face value and 1 Troy oz silver. It revived the cherished obverse design from the 1917 Half-Dollar Coin designed by Adolph A. Weinman.

The Design
The obverse portrays Lady Liberty walking and carrying oak and laurel branches enveloped in the American flag. Her extended arm represents a welcome sign.

The reverse displays the Heraldic Eagle beneath stars, representing the Thirteen Original Colonies. The Eagle has the National Shield on its chest, arrows and olive branches in its talons, and a banner with "E PLURIBUS UNUM" in its beak.
The inscriptions "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ FINE SILVER," and "ONE DOLLAR" describe the coin's face value, weight, metal content, and purity.
An NGC MS-69 “Early Releases” Coin
Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC) is renowned worldwide for assessing and grading coins using the Sheldon Grading Scale, which scores coins from 1 to 70 according to their condition.
For NGC, “Early Releases” refer to coins purchased from the original mint within 30 days of their official release and taken to its appraisal.
MS stands for Mint State. Mint State coins are shaped as business coins. Grade 69 is attributed to coins whose flaws are almost invisible.
