2010 PCGS MS-69 DMPL 5 oz America the Beautiful Grand Canyon Silver Coin - John Mercanti Label
The America The Beautiful Quarter Program aims to portray the most iconic spots in America that have become national preservation sites because of their natural or historical relevance.
The series has released five silver coins annually, from 2010 to 2021, weighing 5 Troy oz, with a USD 0.25 face value.
The Grand Canyon Silver Coin was the fourth coin released in 2010 and the fourth in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program.
The Grand Canyon in Arizona was first established as a national site in 1893. It is an expansive landscape stretching 277 river miles, reaching up to 18 miles wide and plunging a mile deep, providing breathtaking views.
John M. Mercanti, the 12th Chief Engraver of the US Mint, created numerous designs for US circulating, commemorative, and bullion coins, including the original reverse of the Silver Eagles. In 2021, he was recognized as one of the most influential figures in numismatics.
Today, SD Bullion offers the 2010 5 oz America the Beautiful Grand Canyon Silver Coin, graded as an MS-69 DMPL coin, sealed in PCGS slabs with the Exclusive John Mercanti Label.
