The Japanese Akihito 10,000 Gold Coin is a limited strike issued by the Japan Mint in 2009. It aims to celebrate the 21st anniversary of Emperor Akihito's reign.

This coin contains 20 grams of actual gold, corresponding to approximately 0,6430 Troy oz of gold, and exhibits an alluring design embellished by the coin’s proof finish.
