The Design

The reverse design showcases nesting Bald Eagles, accompanied by the engravings "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," the mottos "E PLURIBUS UNUM" and "IN GOD WE TRUST," the coin’s face value of "10 DOLLARS" and "1/4 OZ FINE GOLD."

NGC (Numismatic Guaranty Company) uses the Sheldon Grading Scale to evaluate and attribute grades to coins.

MS stands for Mint State, indicating a coin crafted in the format of a business circulation coin. Since it has never been in circulation, the coin has no sign of wear, tear, or scratching, which grants it a 70 grade.

NGC considers “Early Releases” the coins purchased and taken to its evaluation within the first 30 days of public release by the US Mint.
