2009 1 oz Chinese Panda Gold Coin
The Chinese Mint launched the Panda Gold Coin series in 1982. While not an official national symbol, the Giant Panda is closely associated with China, its native homeland.
The Chinese Panda Gold collection features coins in various sizes, including the popular 1 Troy oz option, each struck in 99.9% pure gold.
A hallmark of the series is the annually changing reverse design, which showcases the Giant Panda in different scenes from its natural environment.
