The Perth Mint crafted silver coins to compose the Lunar Series II from 2008 to 2019. One of the coins released in this cycle was the 2 Troy oz coin, made of 99.9% fine silver.

The reverse displays the animal representing the Astrological sign of that year, its corresponding Chinese character, and the “P” mint mark identifying the Perth Mint.

The twelve coins displayed are Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig.
